President: Align Hospitality

As President of Align Hospitality, Jeff David oversees strategy, growth and execution.  He leverages Align Hospitality’s short term rental, private members club, valet, coworking, food and beverage, wellness and event businesses to exceed its partners and resident’s expectations.  A former Hotelier of the Year, Jeff has 25+ years of experience, with 15 years as a GM/Managing Director and 5 years as the Principal of a consultancy for hospitality start-ups. He led openings for over $1.8 billion dollars’ worth of high profile luxury assets in Aspen, Anguilla, Times Square, Nantucket, Washington DC and Santa Monica. Prior to joining Align Hospitality Jeff was President of Fitler Club in Philadelphia, best described as a hybrid business model that combines Equinox, WeWork and Soho House in a 130,000 square foot private club - driven by pillars of outreach, diversity and the arts.  Jeff’s unique style of servant leadership developed over three decades working with Four Seasons, Viceroy, Proper, The Watergate and The Knickerbocker.

Starting his career as a dishwasher while attending UCLA, Jeff has worked almost every position in a hotel.  His grit, humility and intellectual curiosity are a perfect fit for Align Hospitality’s approach to problem solving. Jeff’s passion is mentorship and giving back to the community, starting 20 years ago as a charter member of the Four Seasons Diversity Task Force. He has been involved in charitable foundations for RocNation Sports and Philly Youth Basketball. He is an Executive Board Member for the Karl and Marissa Van Noy Valor Foundation advocating fostering and adoption for disadvantaged youth, and the birdSEED Foundation for housing justice for the BIPOC community.

About

Flock DC is a real estate management company serving the District proper.

We knew from the start that to take flight, we all need fuel. This core value is at the heart of Flock’s birdSEED philanthropic giving initiative.

Good citizenship and bold contributions to community are part of our wingprint. Our giving began 12 years ago with our time. Indeed, it was all we had to spare. We helped build playgrounds, plant gardens, serve meals and sort clothing. We have (and still) wander the streets with trash bags and lend our spaces to those who have needed to gather, plot and plan for a better world.

These are the seeds we’re planting today as part of a reparative move toward a more just future.

We hope you join us. We have a lot of work to do.
